Our Team
Mark Hough
Mark Hough is the general manager of Shoe Fly – Charlottesville. He started working for the company in 1994. Mark became a certified pedorthist in 1997, and he managed the Mclean store until 1999. In 1999, Mark and his wife Amy moved to Delaware and started a family. Over the next ten years Mark performed many jobs in the shoe industry from Buyer/Management/Factory Rep/Pedorthist before moving back to Virginia in 2010. Mark rejoined the Richey/Shoe Fly organization in 2011 and has been manager of the Charlottesville location since 2017. In his spare time, Mark likes to play golf and spend time with his family.

Michael Ross
Michael Ross is a certified pedorthist at Shoe Fly Charlottesville. He moved to Virginia in 2007 from Colorado. Michael joined the Shoe Fly/Richey & Co family in 2008 as a sales associate, and a year later attended pedorthic school, passed the certification exam, and now has a fantastic career. When he is not working, he is watching sports and spending time with his family.

Rich Plourde
Rich Plourde is a certified pedorthist at Shoe Fly – Charlottesville. He started with the company in 1993 after completing the pedorthic program at Northwestern University. He is also an alumni of Towson State and has experience running an Athlete’s Foot franchise. When not working, he spends most of his time enjoying nature with his 2 boys.
