Shoe Fly Scores Recording Artist Jimmy Mowery For New Jingle
Altoona, Pa: Hometown-favorite shoe store Shoe Fly has teamed up with newly signed recording artist Jimmy Mowery to write Shoe Fly’s latest hit jingle. Mowery, an Altoona native, came into the national spotlight performing on The Voice, making his way to the top 24 contestants.
With no hesitation, Mowery jumped on the opportunity to work with Shoe Fly, excited to write and produce the company’s new jingle. “I was inspired by the company’s core values, with their focus on customer service and making sure people get shoes that fit right,” said Mowery. “That’s what gave me the idea for the lyrics.”
“As a local retailer, we have a strong commitment to supporting our communities,” said Todd Lewis, Shoe Fly’s President, “So it was great to be able to work with a local artist on our new jingle. The talent that comes from this area is truly amazing.”
Mowery recently signed a management and recording deal with Elite Sports & Management Group after competing on The Voice. The new Shoe Fly jingle, which he wrote and performed, can be heard in upcoming Shoe Fly radio advertisements and on the Shoe Fly website.
“Jimmy had never done a jingle before,” said Colleen Devorris, CEO of BrandDemon, Shoe Fly’s advertising agency. “But after meeting with him, we were so excited by his energy and his talent; we decided to give him a try. And what he came back with was awesome – he really captured the spirit of the brand.”
